Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited India Ltd (THDCIL), a joint initiative of Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP), has invited domestic bids for the development of 50-100 MW grid-connected solar PV under EPC mode in the state.
Each solar project should not be less than 10 MW at a single location, and not be extended to more than three suitable sites located in any district of UP.
The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPC) of solar power projects, land and evacuation arrangements. The proposed land should be near to state and center transmission utility company or distribution companies (DISCOMs).
Moreover, the land should be transferred in the name of THDCIL within four months of the signing of power purchase agreement (PPA) by THDCIL with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL).
The project also includes operation and maintenance (O&M) for 25 years (initially for 10 years, but later renewed with mutually agreed rates).
The project should be completed within 12 months from the signing of the PPA.
Bid submissions are due on March 27.
