Mumbai-based solar EPC firm Oriano Solar has installed nine solar projects for Cleantech Solar across multiple states in the last six months. The project capacity totaled 13.75 MWp across the states of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan and union territory Puducherry. Additionally, a 10 MWp solar PV power plant is in the final stage of completion.

“These projects were quite challenging considering multiple locations and difficult land parcels. However, Oriano Solar, with its speed of execution, commissioned the solar PV projects in a very tight schedule,” said Prashant Kothari, director of Finance & Operations, Cleantech Solar.

The plants will generate clean energy that will offset annual carbon dioxide emission of 29,300 metric tonnes.

Recently, in April, Oriano Solar announced commissioning of 18.75 MWp for Aditya Birla Renewables in Chhattisgarh.

Currently, the company is executing 134.5 MWp of solar projects to be commissioned by September 2019 and expects to surpass cumulative installed capacity of 350 MWp by the end of financial year 2019-20.

Sharing further plans, K.G. Vijayvarghia, business head-EPC, Oriano Solar, said: “We have a vision to cross 1 GW of execution by Oriano by 2022 that can offset carbon dioxide emission of 1.2 million metric tonnes annually and collectively contribute in India’s solar energy goal of 100 GW by 2022.”

Oriano Solar, founded in June 2015, was adjudged as the fourth fastest growing technology company in India by Deloitte Fast 50 India 2018 rankings. It works as an EPC partner for utility-scale projects and with commercial and industrial independent power producers in infrastructure development, evacuation and turnkey EPC.
