IGL floats solar PV system plus battery tender

India’s largest CNG distributor Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has invited bids for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 1 KWp solar PV system (4x260W panels) along with 2x150Ah Lithium-ion batteries and 1kVA 24V inverter for 12 hours backup. A total of 76 such systems are to be supplied.

To be eligible, the bidder should have carried out supply and installation of solar photovoltaic systems under a single work order of value not less than Rs 54.94 lakh during any of the preceding five years from the date of bid submission.

The PV module must be indigenously manufactured, using crystalline silicon solar cells. Further, the module must be IEC 61215 Edition II or BIS 14286 certified from an NABL or IECQ accredited laboratory. The power output of the modules under standard test conditions should be a minimum of 1Wp. Further, the module efficiency should not be less than 12%.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security amount of Rs 220,000.

Bidding closes on May 30.
