Following the first amendment last week, Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has further amended the tender for 100 MW(AC) solar PV power plant at Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Telangana.

As per the revised criteria, the bidders are required to have EPC experience for grid-connected solar PV power plants of cumulative capacity not less than 45 MW—against 50 MW earlier—in the last seven financial years as on the last date of bid submission.

Out of the above, at least two projects must have an individual capacity of 9 MW or above.

The minimum average annual turnover requirement in the last three financial years has been lowered to Rs 1634.40 million. Further, the bidder should have a minimum working capital of Rs 1021.50 million as per the last audited financial statement.

The revised bid deadline is June 10.

In the previous amendment issued last week, SECI trimmed the cumulative tendered capacity to 90 MW (AC). This capacity is to be developed at four different sites of Singareni Collieries: 10 MW at Bhupalpally, 28 MW at Mandamarri STG-1, 15 MW at Mandamarri STG-2 (Kasipet mine area) and 37 MW at Kothagudam.

Commissioning period for the cumulative capacity along with other associated equipment was increased to 12 months (against 9 months earlier) from the award notification date.
