Jharkhand tenders 10 MW rooftop solar EPC job for government buildings

Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has invited proposals from consultancy firms for implementation of around 10 MW of rooftop solar projects in Jharkhand. The projects—to be set up on RESCO model—would come up on a total of 100 various government and private consumer buildings across the State.

To be eligible, the bidder must have cumulative turnover of Rs50 crore in the last three financial years for consultancy services. Further, it should have consultancy experience of at least 5 years, for at least 50 MW capacity of solar energy project.

The last date for proposal submission is September 18. Technical bids would be opened on September 20.

Bidders are required to submit Rs2 lakh as bank guarantee.

Scope of work

The consulting firm shall prepare pre-feasibility study reports, design and layout of the solar plants for all the sites as per the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy or JREDA specifications, and supervise the work till completion in all respect. It will also support in competitive bid preparation, execution and selection of suitable RESCO developers, design suitable payment security mechanism and facilitate power purchase agreement between the concerned parties.
