Uttar Pradesh tenders 16 MW of ‘Capex mode’ rooftop solar

The projects are to be installed for captive use with grid integration. Bids can be made for capacities in three different categories: 1 to 10 KW (aggregating to 1.2 MW), 11 KW to 100 KW (10 MW) and 101 KW to 500 KW (4.8 MW).

To be eligible, the bidder should be a solar cells, modules or PV system power-conditioning unit manufacturer registered in India, or it should be a PV system integrator who has installed/commissioned solar plants aggregating to 120 KW for 1-10 KW capacity, 1000 KW for 11-100 KW, and 480 KW for 101-500 KW.

The scope of work includes design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning. The developer shall also be responsible for comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 5 years.

Only crystalline type solar modules manufactured in India are allowed for the plant.

The selected developer shall provide warranty against any defect in design of the plant and equipment used for a period of 5 years from the date of commissioning of the plant. The warranty period for PV modules shall be 25 years.
