Share

The solar cells should be 156×156 ±1 mm2 in size, with cell thickness (including paste on back/front) of 200±20 µm. Further, these must feature 5 busbars.

Cells with silicon nitride anti-reflection coating are preferred.

The PV module wattage must be greater than 325 W for 72 cells with TUV/UL Standards. In case of less wattage observed at Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited, the cell manufacturers would be required to provide single modules of 72 cells with test report from the lab.

Eligibility

Only manufacturers are eligible to participate in the tender. However, in case of foreign manufacturers, offers submitted by their authorised representative will be acceptable if the offer clearly mentions the make of the solar cell and authorization letter from the manufacturer.

25% of the tendered quantity is earmarked for micro and small enterprise suppliers.

To be eligible, the vendor should have minimum 50 MW per annum production capacity for crystalline silicon solar cells. Further, it should have supplied a cumulative 2.3 MW of 156 mm/156.75 mm crystalline silicon solar cells of 4.6 watts or higher rating in FY 2018-19.

Bidders are required to quote fixed prices for the entire contract period of one year. The quantity is to be supplied on a monthly basis as mutually agreed.
