Jaipur-based Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited has invited bids from manufacturers, consortiums and authorized representatives for installation of 270 numbers of EV charging stations across India.
These include 170 DC fast chargers conforming to Bharat DC 001 standard, 70 AC smart chargers conforming to Bharat AC 001 standard, and 30 122KW DC fast chargers supporting three guns (combined charging system, CHAdeMO and AC Type 2).
The chargers shall be deployed in the cities of Agra, Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Shimla, and along Delhi-Jaipur-Agra-Delhi and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai highways (where only DC fast chargers shall come up).
The last date for bid submission is September 18. Bidders are required to deposit Rs 37 lakh as bank guarantee.
Eligibility
To be eligible, the bidders should have support network for EV chargers or products of similar nature across the country in cities and highways.
Preference will be given to bidders who wish to collaborate with REIL for manufacturing of charging equipment under Make In India initiative, and those who wish to work jointly with REIL for scaling up the business on pan India basis. Further, the bidder should own technology rights of the products offered and should be a manufacturer or authorized representative of the manufacturer.
The scope of work includes location survey, planning, supply, erection and commissioning. The selected bidder shall also provide one-year comprehensive onsite warranty maintenance.
