Central Electronics Ltd (CEL) wishes to participate in the tender floated by Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited for solarization of grid-connected agriculture consumers in Rajasthan under Component C of Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahaabhiyan (KUSUM) rural solar scheme. The plants are to be set up—on pilot basis—for Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited.
CEL plans to bid for these projects in tie-up with another party that shall execute solar project using CEL-supplied panels. Bids are therefore invited from parties which are interested in acting as a sub-contractor of CEL for project execution.
To be eligible, the bidder should have experience in supply, installation and maintenance of grid connected/off-grid solar systems in rural areas, with cumulative order value during the last five years (2014-15 to 2018-19) equal to or greater than the estimated value of CEL tender (Rs2 crore).
The last date to bid for CEL tender is November 18.
CEL will submit its proposal to Rajasthan Discom based on the techno-commercial proposal obtained from the partner selected through this tender.
In case of award of contract to CEL, the selected bidder will be responsible for design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and 5 years comprehensive maintenance of distributed grid connected solar systems.
