SBI Chandigarh tenders remote monitoring based rooftop solar power systems

SBI Infra Management Solutions, on behalf of State Bank of India, Chandigarh, has invited an Expression of Interest (EOI) for installation of different capacities of remote monitoring based rooftop solar power system at SBI Branches, offices and residences in Chandigarh region for a contract period of five years.

The solar power systems shall provide power backup to the PCs, lights, fans, etc for branches/offices and street lights, water pumps, etc of the residences for at least 9 hours, 365 days a year, irrespective of the weather conditions in SBI Chandigarh Circle.

Initially, identified branches would preferably located in power-deficient rural and semi urban areas as these are presently heavily dependent on diesel generator (DG) sets. After installation of proposed solar system, existing DG set will be removed.

Scope of work

The successful bidder shall be responsible for complete design, engineering, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar PV systems at identified sites. It shall also provide operation and maintenance support of the centralized remote monitoring solar system and upgradation of the system during contract period of 5 years.

Bidder has to provide DG sets at its own cost, in case of exigencies/unforeseen circumstances, when there is no solar power back-up.

The solar system uptime should not be less than 98%.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the bidder must have installed ‘OPEX mode’ remote monitoring based 3.75 KWp (minimum solar panel capacity) solar power systems with battery back-up in minimum 50 branches of state-owned organizations, reputed hospitals, IT organizations, etc during the last seven years.

Further, the applicant’s average annual financial turnover during the last three years ending March 31, 2019 should be at least Rs 1 crore from solar business only.
