The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has announced a 10-day extension to the bidding deadline for installation and commissioning of standalone off-grid solar water pumping systems in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
The deadline–originally set for June 16—is now revised to June 26.
The successful bidder shall supply the balance-of-system (BOS) components, and install and commission the solar water pumping systems with modules supplied by CEL. It shall also provide operation and maintenance support for five years.
Only indigenously manufactured components (BOS and pumps in addition to modules) are to be used for the systems, which are tendered under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s off-grid and decentralized solar PV applications scheme.
To be eligible, the bidder should have installed and commissioned 150 numbers of solar water pumping system in the last three financial years (FY 2016-17, FY 2017-18 and FY 2018-19) under a programme by MNRE or any other government agency. Further, it must have cumulative turnover of Rs 7.5 crore for the period.
