Satluz Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (SJVN)—a state-owned company in Himachal Pradesh that is mainly into hydropower project implementation and has also diversified into solar—intends to participate in the ninth-phase Dholera Solar Park capacity tender by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) and implement a 100 MW (AC) capacity.
Accordingly, it has invited its empanelled partners to submit bids for installation of the capacity under a ‘build-own-operate’ basis in Gujarat.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and comprehensive operation and maintenance for ten years.
SJVN intends to enter into a power purchase agreement with GUVNL as per the latter’s RfS for 700 MW at Dholera Solar Park under the ninth phase. The project completion period is 15 months from the award of contract, including a commissioning period and a successful performance guarantee period of one month.
To be eligible, the bidder should have an annual average turnover of Rs 3800 million for the last three financial years.
700 MW
In March GUVNL invited bids to develop 700 MW solar power projects in 1 GW Dholera Solar Park. The projects shall be awarded through tariff-based international competitive bidding followed by reverse auction.
GUVNL shall enter into a power purchase agreement with successful bidders for 25 years from the project’s scheduled commercial operation date.
July 31 is the revised bidding deadline for the 700 MW capacity.
