Jaipur-based Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) seeks to empanel EPC contractors for an aggregate 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar capacity in the residential sector across various locations in Bihar.
The projects—to be implemented under the second phase of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy—are eligible for central financial assistance (CFA) from MNRE and financial aid from the state government of Bihar.
Bidding closes on August 4.
Scope of work
The projects are to be carried out on a turnkey basis. The successful bidder shall be responsible for the supply of balance-of-systems (excluding modules and inverters), installation, testing, and commissioning, along with integrated, comprehensive maintenance for five years of the rooftop solar plants.
REIL will supply solar modules and inverters for the plants.
Identifying the beneficiary and site survey for feasibility considering the shadow-free space also comes under the installer’s scope.
