Bidders are required to deposit a bank guarantee of Rs 10 lakh.

Jaipur-based Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited has invited bids from Indian manufacturers for contract manufacturing and supply of 72-cell, 325Wp polycrystalline solar modules with minimum 16.60% efficiency. A total of 6500 quantities are required.

The solar cells used in the modules must be domestically manufactured with the diffusion process on wafers (black wafers) carried out in India.

Rates may be quoted separately in case solar cells used for modules are procured from a foreign manufacturer. If blue wafers of solar cells are imported, the cells will be treated as imported.

The modules must be warranted for their peak output capacity, which should not be less than 90% at the end of ten years and 80% at the end of 25 years.

Eligibility

The manufacturer should have automated, in-house module manufacturing facilities with a minimum of 50 MW per annum capacity. Further, it should have manufactured and supplied cumulative 5 MW of mono- or multicrystalline modules—325Wp or above—during the last one year (July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020).

The total quantity is to be supplied—on the partial shipment basis as mutually agreed—within 3-4 weeks from the issue of the purchase order.
