The Belagavi Smart City Limited (BSCL) has invited bids from developers to install rooftop solar systems on ‘discount over retail tariff’ basis for selected government buildings of Belagavi, Karnataka.
The proposed installation capacity is 467 kWp.
The scope of work for the successful developer includes design, finance, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar systems for 25 years. The developer shall also be responsible for power evacuation from the power plant to the grid as per the net metering scheme.
To be eligible, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected and commissioned an aggregate grid-connected solar capacity of a minimum 470 kWp in the last three years (2016-17 to 2018-19), of which at least 235 kWp should be rooftop solar. Each rooftop solar plant shall be a minimum of 10 kW and be operational during the last year.
The bidder’s net worth should be minimum of Rs 80 lakh for the last financial year (2018-19).
