The solar projects—in block capacity of a minimum 50 MW—are to be developed under the Open category, allowing PV cells and modules of any origin.
The brief scope of work for the enlisted bidder includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, and commissioning of projects (to be awarded to multiple/single bidders) on a turnkey basis. It shall also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant and transmission system for three years.
To be eligible, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned 40 MWp or above of cumulative grid-connected solar capacity, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp capacity or above.
Or, it should be a grid-connected solar plant developer with a cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp or above.
Or, it should have executed in the last ten years an industrial project (either as a developer or EPC contractor)—in power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining (including coal handling plant) and/or any other process industry—of a value of minimum Rs 2 billion. Besides, it should have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33kV or above voltage-level circuit breakers and power transformer
The bidder’s average annual turnover should not be less than Rs 2 billion during the last three financial years.
