New Delhi-based Okaya Power says it has already installed more than 500 electric vehicle (EV) chargers nationwide and has installation orders for a further 10,000-plus systems.
Okaya’s EV charging solutions include AC/DC charging stations as well as off-board chargers.
The AC/DC charging stations can charge electric vehicles compatible with IEC 60309 (Bharat AC001), IEC 62196-2 (Type 2 AC), combined charging system type-2 (CCS-2), CHAdeMO and GB/T charging standards in AC charger 230V or 415V and in DC charger output voltage up to 750/1000V.
The off-board chargers are portable, easy-to-operate units for use at homes, offices and other residential locations for personal use.
Anshul Gupta, Director, Okaya Power, said, “As one of the largest suppliers of EV charging stations in India, we are fully committed to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles with our ongoing efforts…It is heartening to note that our orders are growing at a commendable pace and we look forward to capturing even larger share of the growing market demand.”
Earlier this year, Okaya Power’s electric mobility business got a significant boost as it joined hands with Prakriti E-Mobility, India’s largest fleet operator of four-wheeler electric vehicles, to provide charging stations for their fleet operations.
