SJVN seeks installers for at least 100 MW of solar

State-owned hydropower producer SJVN Limited, a joint venture of the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOHP), has issued an Expression of Interest to select EPC installers for building grid-connected solar power plant of at least 100 MW (AC) capacity anywhere in India.

The selected parties shall be enlisted for an initial period of two years, which shall be further renewed based on the fulfilment of technical and financial criteria at that time.

The work includes design, installation and commissioning of 100 MW AC and above solar PV plant on a turnkey basis, along with its comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of up to ten years.

Construction of the power evacuation system and integration with the designated substation as per the requirement of SJVN also falls under the selected contractor’s scope.

To be eligible, the applicant must have successfully completed similar work for at least one project of minimum 50 MW capacity having a total value not less than INR 150 crore in the last seven years before the last date of application submission. The completed project should have been in successful operation for at least one year, with the applicant presently engaged in the business of operation & maintenance (O&M).

The applicant should have at least INR 150 crore of average annual financial turnover for the last three accounting years.

The deadline for application submission is December 17.
