Jaipur-based Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) has invited bids to supply an aggregate 200,000 quantities of multi-crystalline silicon solar cells, with the quantity equally divided between 4.50W (4-/5-busbar) and 4.60W (5-busbar) cells.
The solar cells should be 156×156 ± 1.0mm or 156.75×156.75 ± 1.0 mm in size, with a cell thickness of 200±20 microns. Further, the front busbar must be at least 0.8 mm wide and the back busbar 1.0 mm. Cells with plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition of silicon nitride as anti-reflection coating are preferred.
Only REIL-approved bidders will be considered against this tender. Those not listed as REIL-approved vendors will be required to provide a sample of 140 cells.
The contract period is up to February 28, 2021. The cells are to be supplied on a monthly basis as mutually agreed with REIL. The bidder is required to mention the maximum delivery capacity of ordered solar cells on a two-weeks lead time basis.
