The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) is looking to engage a consultancy firm for demand aggregation and implementation of 1060 MW grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems.
The bidder should be an empanelled consultant under the Energy Sector category of Karnataka Infrastructure Development Department for at least one year as on the bid submission date.
It should have carried out demand aggregation for at least 100 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV generation projects in India under any government scheme/program in the last five financial years, i.e., 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
If the bidder has done the work in a joint venture/consortium, it should have been the consortium’s lead bidder.
The bidder should also have assisted any power utility in the bid process to engage third-party vendors for the deployment of at least 100 MW rooftop solar PV plants in India under any government scheme.
It should have carried out technical studies and formulated and evaluated business models for grid-connected rooftop PV systems and financial/revenue impact assessment for any DISCOMs in India during the last five years. Besides, it should have worked with Indian DISCOMs in scaling up the adoption of grid-connected rooftop PV systems by carrying out awareness-raising and outreach campaigns.
The bidder’s annual turnover must not be less than INR 1.5 crore in any two of the preceding five financial years.
