Adani Green Energy Limited has announced its arm Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eight Limited (AREHEightL) has received the Letter of Award (LOA) to set up a 600 MW wind-solar hybrid power project.

AREHEightL bagged the capacity in an auction by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to set up a 1.2 GW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power project.

The tariff payable for the electricity generated from this project capacity is fixed at INR 2.41/kWh for 25 years.

The project is expected to be commissioned in 18 months from the effective date of the power purchase agreement (PPA).
