State-run hydropower producer NHPC Ltd has invited domestic bids to develop 100 MW solar PV capacity at Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park (UMREPP) in Koppal District of Karnataka.
The capacity is part of 2.5 GW interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected ground-mounted projects at the Koppal Solar Park.
Only the firms enlisted with NHPC for executing 50 MW or above solar capacity can bid for the capacity.
The project completion period (including commissioning) is 12 months.
The project scope includes design, engineering, procurement/manufacturing, supply, installation and commissioning of the project, along with its comprehensive operation and maintenance for ten years.
Karnataka Solar Power Development Corporation Limited shall provide the land for the project at Koppal Solar Park on sub-lease basis.
The peak power rating of the individual modules used in the plant should be a minimum 320Wp (with no negative tolerance). The total PV module capacity to be installed for the 100 MW (AC) project is a minimum 130 MWp, which is the cumulative rated capacity of all solar PV modules under standard test conditions.
To be eligible for the EPC work, the bidder should have an average annual turnover of a minimum INR 434 crore in the last three years and a positive net worth that is not less than the amount of paid-up equity share capital in three out of the preceding five years.
