NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited, an arm of state-owned power producer NTPC Limited, has invited bids to set up a 1 MW rooftop solar plant at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) for captive consumption.
The successful bidder’s work scope includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of the plant for ten years.
To be eligible, the bidder should have installed and commissioned—either as an EPC contractor or developer—a cumulative grid-connected PV capacity of a minimum 800 kW, out of which at least one rooftop solar plant should have been at least 100 kW. The reference plant must have been in successful operation for at least six months before the techno-commercial bid opening date.
Or, the bidder should have executed an industrial project in the last ten years, either as a developer or as EPC contractor, of a value of INR 40 million or more in a single project. The reference project should be in successful operation for at least one year before the techno-commercial bid opening date. Further, it should have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor, which should be in successful operation for at least one year.
The bidder’s average annual turnover should not be less than INR 41 million during the preceding three financial years.
