Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd has invited bids to develop an aggregate 41.7 MW capacity of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects in Madhya Pradesh.
The projects, for sale of solar power under RESCO model (capital expenditures covered by the installer), shall come upon the buildings of different government departments and private institutions across the state.
The work scope for successful bidders includes design, engineering, supply, financing, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for 25 years.
The capacity has been grouped into different projects as follows:
- Municipality and public health engineering department (site capacity>100 kW) 13,740 kW
- Municipality and public health engineering department (site capacity<100 kW) 5,850 kW
- MP Jal Nigam (site capacity>100 kW) 4,650 kW
- MP Jal Nigam (site capacity<100 kW) 2,850 kW
- Central government institutions (site capacity>100 kW) 1,350 kW
- Central government institutions (site capacity<100 kW) 750 kW
- State government institutions and MP power utilities (site capacity>100 kW) 6820 kW
- State government institutions and MP power utilities (site capacity<100 kW) 3085 kW
- Private institutions/organization (site capacity>100 kW) 1630 kW
- Private institutions/organization (site capacity<100 kW) 1005 kW
Bidding is allowed for a minimum of one project group up to all of the project groups. The ceiling tariff for each project group is INR 4/kWh.
