Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has invited EPC contractors to set up a cumulative 200 MW of ground-mounted, grid-tied solar power generating systems anywhere in India. The plant sizes will range from 2 MW to 10 MW.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the balance of system for the plants. The responsibility of getting grid connectivity also lies with the EPC contractor.
To be eligible, the applicants must have a minimum average turnover of INR 20 crore in the last three financial years (FY 2018-19, FY 2019-20, and FY 2020-21) from the solar business. It must have designed, supplied, tested, installed, and commissioned a cumulative 5 MW of grid-connected solar plants either directly or indirectly in the last five years.
