Goldi Solar, which recently unveiled its HELOC̣ Pro series featuring mono-facial and bifacial modules based on M10 (182mm x 182mm) wafer size, plans to move a step further to increase its product lineup. The company plans to start producing 210mm modules from next year.

Speaking to pv magazine, managing director Capt Ishver Dholakiya said, Their company will start commercial production of 182mm HELOC modules by November this year. The modules are 21.7% efficient to give a power output of 560Wp. The company plans the production of modules based on even larger wafer sizes (210mm) from next year.

Currently, Goldi Solar has 500 MW of module capacity and plans to increase it to 2 GW (including cells and modules) under the government’s production-linked incentives (PLI) scheme

“There is ample market for all module manufacturers, including the new entrants, as the government has set ambitious solar targets,” believes Dholakiya.

Goldi Solar’s 60% of sales revenue comes from the commercial and industrial solar (on-site and open-access) and solar pumps market.

Dholakiya said there is a big market in this segment. The company plans an increased outreach to such customers to make them aware of the quality of installations over the lifetime of the PV system.
