Austrian solar racking solutions maker Aerocompact, which launched its India operations in November 2019, has now started exporting its products made in India to south East nations like Thailand and Malaysia, and the Middle East besides catering to the local market.
Speaking to pv magazine, Mandar Mainde, Country Manager, said Aerocompact’s India operations have supplied 7 MW of sheet-metal roof mounting products since February 2020 in the India market. Aerocompact products made in India are also being shipped to Thailand and Malaysia, and will soon start for Vietnam too.
Aerocompact gets its products contract-manufactured in India. It has also started manufacturing flat-roof PV racking products in India, which shall be available from January next year.
The India operations are also supporting the requirement of the European operations of Aerocompact and will support the USA too eventually.
The company sees most of its product demand coming from the commercial and industrial (C&I) customers having metal sheet roofs on top of their factory. It’s following the approach of reaching out to the end customers (factory owners) and developers. People are moving towards quality products, and the market is seeing consolidation, said Mandar Mainde.
