Servotech Power Systems, a New Delhi-based LED lights and solar products manufacturer, has secured off-grid solar plants order from Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA).
Under this project, Servotech will be responsible for the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of off-grid solar PV power plants in different government office buildings in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh.
The total value of the project, which is to be implemented over one year, is INR 37.20 crore. Initially, Servotech has been issued a letter of intent for the first lot worth INR 11.16 crore that needs execution in a short period. This project is scheduled to begin in the first week of December 2021 and is expected to complete by March 2022.
“We are proud to be a part of UPNEDA’s recent effort towards solar growth. UPNEDA has always focused on providing quality power to the people of the state through renewable and new energy sources. I am certain that this off-grid solar PV project will be completed on time, and our collaboration will continue to assist India in meeting its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2070,” said Raman Bhatia, Managing Director, Servotech Power Systems Ltd.
