The projects will be located near Gadag and Koppal districts.
Installers can bid for any capacity from 50 MW to 600 MW (Koppal and Gadag combined). The individual project size shall be a minimum of 50 MW or higher in multiples of 10 MW.
The projects are tendered under the Open category, allowing the use of solar cells and modules of any origin.

It also includes identification, acquisition, and complete transfer of ownership/lease of encumbrance-free land in favor of NTPC RE Ltd. Identifying and arranging grid connectivity at the proposed ISTS substation at Gadag and Koppal in Karnataka also falls under the installer’s scope.
