NTPC arm tenders 3.5 MW (AC) solar at four airports

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited) has invited domestic bids to develop a cumulative 3.5 MW (AC) of grid-connected solar PV project capacity at four airport sites in the States of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan under net-metering. The solar plants shall come upon the land available at Safdurgunj (2 MW), Jabalpur (0.5 MW), Khajuraho (0.5 MW), and Udaipur (0.5 MW) airports. The generated solar power from the proposed solar project will be utilized by the client for captive consumption and the surplus power may be fed to the grid.

The scope of work for the successful bidders includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar plants under Net-metering.

The average annual turnover of the Bidder, should not be less than INR 195.13 million or in equivalent foreign currency during the preceding three financial years. The net worth of the bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100% of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.
