State-owned thermal energy giant NLC India Ltd (formerly Neyveli Lignite Corporation) has invited bids to set up a 100 MW (AC) interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected solar power project on a turnkey basis anywhere in India.
The work includes getting approval for connectivity and long-term access, procurement/lease of government land, design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, commissioning of the 100 MW PV plant, and associated power evacuation system up to the delivery point at ISTS/CTU substation. It also includes operation and maintenance support for three years.
The commissioning timeline for the entire project capacity is 15 months from the award of the contract.
