Durgapur Projects Limited, a State-owned integrated power utility in West Bengal, has invited bids to install a total 20MW of grid-connected, ground-mounted solar capacity inside its thermal power plant on a turnkey basis. The PV capacity, consisting of individual projects of 7MW, 8MW, and 5MW, shall be implemented in a single EPC package.
The work scope includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, commissioning of the solar plants, and five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.
Modules for this plant should be monofacial/bifacial, monocrystalline with a peak power output of a minimum of 500W. These must be enlisted in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) at the time of delivery.
The project completion period is 12 months from the award of the contract.
