Amp Energy India has announced the commissioning of a 45 MW open-access solar project in Maharashtra.
The project has long-term power purchase agreements in place with pharmaceutical producer Cipla, aroma chemical supplier Eternis Fine Chemicals, and integrated science solutions specialist Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd.
Amp Energy now has five operational open-access PV projects in Maharashtra, with the last being co-located.
“The [45 MW open-access PV] project, envisaged in February 2021, was delivered within the deadline of March 31, 2022, despite an unprecedented rise in costs of all the components and logistics challenges,” said the company.
