Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has invited bids to supply 1,046,000 five-busbar monocrystalline PERC solar cells each rated for a peak power output of more than 5.54 W.
The solar cells should be 158.75 ± 0.5 x 158.75 ± 0.5 mm in size, with a cell thickness of 200±20 microns. These should have plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition of silicon nitride (blue color) as an anti-reflective coating.
The prospective supplier should have an annual in-house manufacturing capacity for 1.5 million mono PERC cells. And it should have supplied a minimum of 5,00,000 mono PERC solar cells to reputed PV module manufacturers in the last three years.
The cells must be delivered in a single lot within 45 days from the date of manufacturing clearance.
