Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corp. Ltd (RREC) has opened bids to set up 50 MWp of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government buildings in Rajasthan. The projects are to be installed in RESCO mode (capital expenditures covered by the installer).
Bids must be made for a minimum of 3 MW and a maximum of 10 MW. The ceiling tariff is fixed at INR 4.05/kWh.
The bidders should have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar capacity of not less than 50% of the quoted capacity in the last five years. Out of these installations, at least one plant should have a minimum capacity of 250 kWp.
The prospective developer’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar plant for 25 years.
