Amazon India is collaborating with TVS Motor on electric two- and three-wheeler deployment for last-mile deliveries. The two companies will also work together to examine EV use cases for various Amazon business groups, identifying the network and logistical requirements.
To test solutions, Amazon will pilot TVS Motor’s electric vehicle solutions through its partner base and delivery associates across India.
The collaboration with TVS Motor strengthens Amazon’s delivery network by adding electric two- and three-wheelers to its existing fleet.
“This will support our supply chain in minimizing the environmental impact of our operations and contribute to Amazon India’s goal of inducting 10,000 EVs into our fleet by 2025,” said Abhinav Singh, director–customer fulfilment, supply chain and global specialty fulfilment, Amazon India.
