NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has tendered the power transformer supply package (South block) for its 4.75 GW renewable energy park at Khavda in the Indian State of Gujarat.
The prospective contractor’s scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, testing, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, supervision of erection and commissioning of 315 MVA, 400/33/33 kV power transformers along with required accessories.
The NTPC project is part of the 30 GW hybrid RE park at Khavda. The government of Gujarat has allocated 50,000 acres of land to a mix of public and private developers including Adani Green Energy (9,500 MW), Gujarat State Electricity Corp. Ltd (3,325 MW), Gujarat Industries Power Co. Ltd (2,375 MW), NTPC (4,750 MW), Suzlon Group company Sarjan Realties (4750), and Solar Energy Corp. of India (3,000 MW).
