Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd (REIL) has invited bids to develop an aggregate 50 MWp of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity on government buildings in different states and union territories of India. The plants are to be developed under the RESCO model.
The selected developer’s scope of work includes site survey, design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the rooftop solar PV power system, along with the associated power evacuation and transmission system. It will also provide operation and maintenance support for 25 years.
The ceiling tariff is INR 5.15/kWh for sites falling under general category states and union territories and INR 6.25/kWh for sites falling under special category states and union territories.
