Airtouch Solar, an Israeli robotic PV panel cleaning specialist, has signed a $3 million long-term contract with Indian developer ReNew for the supply and maintenance of panel cleaning robots. “This agreement is one of a series of transactions between the two companies, with a total scope of approximately $3 million,” it stated.
Earlier, in 2021, Airtouch Solar has landed a $7.6 million deal to deploy its water-free cleaning robots for ReNew’s three solar farms in Rajasthan. Its scope under the contract included the supply, erection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Airtouch robotic cleaning systems for 25 years.
