Amp Energy India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop 720 MW of renewable energy projects in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
Under the MoU, Amp Energy will develop set up wind, solar, wind-solar hybrid, floating solar and energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh with an estimated investment of around INR 5,800 crore ($702 million) over the next 3-5 years.
“This would not only boost the state’s RE capacity but also enhance socio-economic growth by creating employment opportunities for about 700-1000 people in the state,” stated Amp Energy.
