Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) announced today that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jakson Green to form a joint venture for clean energy EPC projects globally. “The partnership shall bring in synergy in designing, executing, and delivering EPC projects globally by both partners. RVNL being an infrastructure giant and Jakson being into renewable energy, shall cater to the need for giga-scale EPC clean energy projects in MENA, CIS, and APAC countries,” stated RVNL.
In a separate development, Indian Oil Corp. Ltd (IndianOil) and NTPC Green Energy have formed a joint venture to set up renewable energy (RE) plants to meet the round-the-clock power requirement of new projects of IndianOil refineries. The two companies will hold an equal stake in the proposed JV.
“The JV is a synergistic alliance that brings together the strong credentials of NTPC, which is a dominant power major in India with a presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business, and IndianOil’s established expertise in petroleum refining along with its presence across the energy spectrum,” stated IndianOil.
