Waaree Renewable Technologies, an end-to-end solar solutions provider, has secured a 1 MW green hydrogen project in Maharashtra. It bagged the project from Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology and will execute the project on a built-own-operate basis.
The project completion period is 12 months.
Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology is a wholly subsidiary company of Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corp., under the Government of Maharashtra. It undertakes projects under different verticals including renewable energy and new and emerging technology (especially green hydrogen and futuristic energy integration).
Waaree Renewable Technologies is engaged in the design & manufacturing of modules, and the installation and commissioning of PV projects. The company has now forayed into green hydrogen and is looking to collaborate with technology partners and other hydrogen value chain stakeholders for an electrolyzer gigafactory.
