Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd (MAHAGENCO) has invited domestic bids to build a 62 MW (AC) grid-interactive solar PV plant on an EPC basis in the Akola district of Maharashtra.
The project will be located at Paras village. The available land is 103 hectares.
The successful bidder’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar plant with associated high-tension overhead transmission line/underground cable. It will also provide five years of operation and maintenance support for the solar plant and evacuation system up to the point of interconnection at the Paras substation.
The mono-crystalline/bifacial silicon solar PV modules used in the solar project should be from the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
