Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC), a JV of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd, has issued a tender to procure up to 500 MW of solar power from grid-connected PV projects located anywhere in Haryana.
The bidders selected by HPPC shall set up solar power projects in Haryana. The selection of solar projects for a total capacity of 500 MW with up to a maximum of 10 MW from a single bidder will be carried out through e-bidding followed by an e-reverse auction. HPPC shall enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders.
A bidder can offer projects at multiple locations subject to each project having a minimum capacity of 1 MW with cumulative capacity offered not exceeding 10 MW. The scope of work includes design, finance, procurement of land, engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance of the project.
Projects under construction or projects which are not yet commissioned will be eligible.
