KPI Green has secured the letter of intent for a 40 MW wind-solar hybrid project from Surat-based Anupam Rasayan India, a company engaged in the custom synthesis and manufacturing of specialty chemicals in India.
The developer will execute this project under the captive power producer category.
The project will comprise 21.50 MW wind and 18.50 MW solar capacity. It is scheduled for completion in the financial year 2023-24 in various tranches.
KPI Green supplies power as an independent power producer (IPP) and captive power producer (CPP). The company commissioned its first hybrid IPP project comprising 16.1 MW wind plus 10 MW solar in March this year. Together with this hybrid IPP project, it has energized a cumulative capacity of 312+ MW up to March 2023, including 137+ MW under IPP and 175+ MW under the CPP category.
