Waaree Energies rated top performer in PVEL’s 2023 PV Module Reliability Scorecard

Waaree Energies Ltd, India’s largest solar panel manufacturer, has been recognized as a Top Performer in the 9th edition of PVEL’s prestigious annual PV Module Reliability Scorecard. It won the rating after its products met international quality and performance benchmarks set by PVEL.

PVEL is an independent testing facility for the solar and energy storage industries. It provides independent testing, engineering, and data solutions to mitigate risk and optimize project performance and economics in the sector. The rankings in PVEL’s PV Module Reliability Scorecard are determined by the outcomes of the exhaustive and rigorous lab and field tests conducted as part of its Product Qualification Program (PQP).

Waaree has a solar module manufacturing capacity of 12 GW per year in India. It is purportedly the largest exporter of solar modules and currently exports its products to over 20 countries worldwide. Waaree recently completed the delivery of 50 MW of solar modules to a Fortune 500 company in the US.
