SJVN Green Energy Ltd, an arm of SJVN Ltd, has invited bids to provide the balance-of-system (BOS) package for a 200 MW(AC) grid-connected solar PV power plant in Gujarat. The project is to be installed at Khavda Solar Park.
Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUNVL) is the off-taker for this project under a power purchase agreement with SGEL.
SGEL has also tendered the BOS package for a 75 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV power plant at Jamui in Bihar.
For both projects, the prospective contractors’ scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and three-year comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar power plant. SGEL will supply the solar PV modules separately to the BOS contractors.
