Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Industries Power Co. Ltd to build its 600 MW AC (750 MW DC) solar PV project at Khavda, Gujarat. The total order value, including operation and maintenance for three years, is around INR 1,130 crore.
With this win, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has scored a hat-trick in Khavda and reached a capacity totaling over 3.8 GWp in the region.
The latest project comprises two blocks of 300 MW AC each.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning along with three-year operation and maintenance.
Amit Jain, global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said, “We have started FY 2024 on a high note, with this prestigious order from GIPCL. With this, our total order booking in this fiscal jumps to over 1.6 GWp worth INR 1,800 crore.”
