NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) has invited bids to supply crystalline silicon bifacial PV modules for its 1,255 MW Khavda Solar Project in the Indian state of Gujarat. The total capacity for module supply is 1,584.6 MWp. The modules must have a nominal output rating of a minimum of 540 Wp each and comply with domestic content requirements.
The scope of work includes manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, and transportation of modules to NTPC REL’s 4.75 GW RE Park in Khavda, Rann of Kutch.
The 1,255 MW project capacity comprises four adjacent blocks: three blocks of 315 MW (397.7 MWp) each and one block of 310 MW (391.5 MWp).
The tender document states NTPC REL intends to finance the subject package through its own resources and/or external borrowings.
