Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for a ground-mount solar power project of 52.6 MWp capacity. The company has received the letter of intent for the project from the group company of one of India’s leading power generation companies.
The project is expected to be completed by March 31, 2024.
Waaree Renewable Technologies is the solar EPC arm of Waaree Group. It provides clean energy to its clients by setting up both on-site (rooftop and ground-mounted) and off-site (open access) solar projects. The company reported a 36% year-on-year increase in revenue to INR 129 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2023-24. Profit after tax grew 12% y-o-y to INR 11.1 crore.
